  “Unfortunately, I had a dreadful experience dealing with this rescue organization. My experience began and ended when I contacted the organization regarding one of the pups available for adoption. Anyone contacting this group should be aware that bizarrely they do not take or receive any phone calls, only email. My primary contact was with Meghan. Once we scheduled a time to meet at the farm, I explained that since I was coming alone to an unfamiliar location (I am female), would she mind speaking with me on the phone for a moment so I could confirm exactly who I would be meeting with? Also, I explained that, before we met, I wanted to ask her a few questions about the puppy's temperament, etc. to see if my home would be a good fit for this particular dog. She replied No, she was too busy to speak on the phone. It seems to me that anyone interested in adopting a dog should be encouraged to ask questions. After all, adopting a pet is a 10-15 year commitment. I am not sure if I caught Meghan on a particularly bad day or if she is generally so rude, but my experience was entirely awful. I would recommend anyone interested in adopting a dog to think twice before contacting this group. There are several other great rescue organizations in the Raleigh/Cary area that are interested in placing animals in loving homes, not just any home.”
