The Oconto Area Humane Society & Animal Shelter, Inc. is a 501[c]3 open-admission shelter dedicated to providing protection, care and shelter for abandoned and homeless companion animals. We appreciate and applaud those who choose to save a life and adopt a pet! Rescuing a pet can be a very rewarding experience and OAHS Staff is here to help! The cost to house one animal awaiting adoption in our shelter ranges between $150-$250 for everything from medications to litter and grooming. We receive no local, state or federal funding therefore rely upon the generosity of the community for donations. We thank all of our volunteers and donors. We simply could not do it without you!
