Laredo Animal Care Services (LACS) is the municipal shelter for the City of Laredo that provides temporary housing for stray, unwanted or homeless animals in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and ordinances. LACS provides veterinary care services to shelter animals, promotes responsible pet ownership, and educates the community about local resources.
