The Shelter was first opened in 2005. Our facility includes 21 dog kennels, 3 outside dog kennels, 21 cat kennels, an Isolation/Quarantine Room that can house up to 20 additional cats or 6 additional dogs, and an adoptable cat room called the "Catty Shack", which can house 12 cats. We have both cats and dogs that have become separated from their owners. Our first priority is to try to locate the animal’s owner and reunite them with their family. If we are unable to locate an owner, we work on placing these animals in homes through adoption or our work with rescue groups.
