Parrots For Peace, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit facilitating Nature's Intelligence workshops and peace, environmental education by a family of blue and gold macaws who "speak" at United Nations NGOs through the President/Founder, Gloria Waslyn. The peace parrot family sang regularly with luminary Pete Seeger, were first responders at the 911-World Trade Center event encouraging peace and giving comfort to families and friends of those impacted by the tragedy. They visited for peace vigils nearly daily for nine months and provided comfort to many hundreds of people with their motto: "May there be peace with Mother Earth and all People, Animals and Nature." Gloria's home in Ruby, Town of Ulster has been a private haven for rehomed parrots.
